How much liability insurance should I buy on my car insurance?

As much as you can afford.  Liability claims are by nature unlimited and you cannot reasonably predict how large a claim will be before it happens.  With that in mind, we advise that you purchase the highest liability limits you can afford on your auto insurance policy.
